Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Machine for Paper Making Industrial Wastewater Treatment
DAF System Introduction
The Dissolved Air Flotation system is a water treatment process that clarifies wastewaters by removing suspended matter such as oil or solids. This is achieved by dissolving air in the water under pressure and then releasing it at atmospheric pressure in a flotation tank. The released air forms microbubbles that adhere to suspended particles, causing them to float to the surface where they can be removed by a skimming device.
DAF System Work Process
  1. Wastewater enters coagulation (RT1) and flocculation (RT2) reaction tanks from the equalization tank
  2. Water coagulates with PAC and flocculates with PAM to form flocs
  3. Wastewater and dissolved water enter the DAF tank reaction zone
  4. Microbubbles and flocs combine to form low-density particles that float to the surface
  5. Scum is scraped to the slag tank while clean water collects below
  6. Most water is discharged while a portion recirculates to form dissolved water
